Final thoughts of my adventure
Me, my brother, Mum and Dad went on a journey all the way up the UK and back.
The best day of my holiday was Easter Day because I got chocolate from the Easter Bunny and played on the beach!
HAPPY EASTER!
Animal Day
First we met with Adam and Harriet and we had a picture with all my friends on the wall.
Then we all went to play in soft play because it was raining.
Cock a doodle doo
We then visited our friends in Barnsley
They had chickens
The chickens looked hungry because they didn't have very much food left.
So we filled up the feeder with seeds and grain
Then we gave them as a snack dried worms
With the eggs my brother and Rose made a banana bread.
Light Houses and Ruins
Last night we slept over looking St Mary's Lighthouse near Whitley Bay
In the morning we saw a house that had a fire many years ago so it is now only ruins.
We looked around the grounds for sheep that told us the history of the house.
We found a play area
We had lunch and then we went to see a second light house.
We climbed up stairs and a ladder to get to the light that was working. My mummy pushed the lens around even though it was heavier than our camper van. She could do this because the lenses were on top of a river of mercury.
Amos went into the light keepers bedroom and he dressed up.

Cragsides
We went to Cragsides but the house was shut because of a power cut. We had fun in the grounds though . . .
building dens
in the play area
climbing around the labyrinth.
Lindisfarne Castle
Today we left Edinburgh and started our journey back to England. We stopped and had a look around the castle.
That's me in the gunpowder room.
I wrote a postcard saying, "I came to Lindisfarne Castle because I like castles."
